ا ح د أ ز ح ا س اح ني ح ث ع ا ت س اح ث ا بس أ ج ع ني, و أ ش ه د أ ال إ إ ال ا و ح د ال ش س ه ا ه ا ح ك ا ج ني و أ ش ه د أ س د ب و ج ب ح د ا ع ج د ا و ز س ى, أ ا بس ل ج ب و أ و ث س ث س ا و ع ط ف ب ف ب ه ص و س و ث بز ن ع س د ب و ج ب ح د و ع آ و ص ح ج ا ط ج ني ا ط ب س و ع ت ج ع ه ث ئ ح س ب إ ى ا د. All praise is due to Allah, the Merciful and the Most Compassionate. He urged for compassion amongst all people. I bear witness that there is no deity save Allah, having no associates. He is the Absolute Ruler, the Truth and the Manifest. I also bear witness that our Master Muhammad is the servant of Allah and His Messenger. He was the most soft-hearted amongst people, the most virtuous and the most merciful. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his pure grateful family and companions, and all those who follow them in righteousness till the Day of Judgment.
No Muslim can be a Muslim, Mo min or Muhsin without love for humanity. The fundamental premise of Islam is to Worship Allah and Serve Humanity. Islam highly stresses solidarity, compassion, cooperation and cohesion, which are the building blocks of a stable society and world. و ا ت م ى ي ع ا ج س و ت ع بو ىا and cooperate in righteousness and piety. (5:2) Social compassion is coming together for the sake of spreading goodness across the entire community without discrimination. إ ا ؤ أ اإل مي ب ث ز ة ا س أ س ا ج س د أ ا ؤ أل اإل مي ب و ب أ ا ج س د ب ف ا س أ س The example of the faithful believers is like the human body; if the head aches, the whole body aches. In like manner, a faithful believer would suffer if other believers suffer. (Musnad Ahmad) و اع ج د وا ا و ال ت ش س و ىا ث ش ئ ب و ث ب ى ا د إ ح س ب ب و ث ر ا م س ث و ا ت ب و ا س بو ني و ا ج بز ذ ا م س ث و ا ج بز ا ج ت و ا ص بح ت ث ب ج ت Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbour, the neighbour farther away, the companion at your side. (4:36)
Compassion is vast and wide and is by no means limited to relatives. It should include neighbours by treating them in kindness, sharing with them their happy occasions, supporting them at hard times and giving them gifts. ب أ ث ب ذ ز : إ ذ ا ط ج خ ت س ل ة ف أ و ث س بء ب و ت ع ب د ج ري ا ه O Abu Dharr! Whenever you prepare a broth, put plenty of water in it, and give some of it (as a present) to your neighbours. (Sahih Muslim) Islam is a religion of mercy. It is keen to nurture love and kindness in the heart of people and promote amongst them compassion and solidarity. ا س أ خ ى ا س ال ظ و ال س و ب ف ح بج ة أ خ و ب ا ف ح بج ت و ف س ج ع س و س ث ة ف س ج ا ع ث ه ب و س ث ة و س ة ى ا م ب ة و س ت س س ب س ت س ا ى ا م ب ة a Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfil his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection. (Sahih al-bukhari)

We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude. (76:8-9) Abdul Sattar Edhi stated: Huqquq Allah [The rights of Allah] is meaningless without Huqquq-ul-ibaad [The rights of humanity] ع و س ص د ل ة «. ل : أ ز أ ت إ ج د ل بي :» ع ت ث د ف ف ع ف س و ت ص د ق «. ل : أ ز أ ت إ س ت ط ع ل بي :» ع ني ذ ا ا ح بج ة ا ه ىف» The Prophet said, every Muslim has to give in charity. The people asked, if someone has nothing to give, what will he do? He said, he should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns). The people further asked, "if he cannot find even that? He repliedhe should help the needy who appeal for help. (Sahih al-bukhari)
